Is it Time to Redesign?

So ive had a blog running for a few days now over at blog.neillh.com.au, and I am really enjoying the layout of it.

Its fun, bright, lots of white space (oh my screen res is 1680x1050 so I see more white space than some may) and it has my fav colour green.

Now i do like my current site design here but after viewing this lighter brighter layout im starting to wonder is the dark scheme scaring some off? and is it still fresh?
